Hello my name is Eric Galletta and I have been building and repairing guitars for over 30 years now to date. In the start of my career I partnered with my Uncle Alejandro Soler and we started to incorporate natural seashell finishes to electric guitars. I was able to patent our designs as an " Improved Electric Guitar" owing to the fact that our unique finishes added a natural sustain and durability to the guitar designs.
I first started as an apprentice to the legendary guitar maker Wayne Richard Charvel the originator of the custom guitar shop and “Hot Rod Guitars” name sake of Charvel Guitars.
I created the RITZ Guitar lines and WRC Guitar lines with Wayne Charvel, in which we made customized guitars utilizing our patented- natural seashell finishes, as well as making an array of custom exotic wood guitars and hot rod painted guitars.
I have been making my own line of guitars since the early 1990s under my surname Galletta Guitars.
I have been very fortunate to work with legends in the guitar industry as Bernie Rico - BC Rich Guitars for a few years, R.C. Allen long time guitar maker, guitar collector, historian and designer. With R.C . Allen
I was able to replicate his historic Bigsby Guitar # 81848 finished August 18,1948 a guitar that was predecessor to both the Leo Fender Designs and Gibson Guitars LES PAUL design.
I have also have had the privilege to study and work on guitars made by Paul Bigsby, and R.C. Allen in which I have learned valuable building and construction techniques.
