We are a "Mom & Pop" brick and mortar store that has served the Nacogdoches, Tx community proudly for 25 years. We specialize in building long term customer relationships. We like to say strangers are friends we haven't met yet!
In 1988, with the help of friends such as Ottis Byers, Encore Music was established by owner Dana Woods. Dana took his musical experience along with trade tips from these friends and built a successful “brick and mortar” music business. With a love for all aspects of music: instruction, performing, recording, and sales, the Encore family has made a strong impact on the East Texas area. Encore has had the opportunity to help train some of today’s top musicians who now work with Harry Connick, Jr., Dierks Bentley, and other well known stars. In 1999, the legendary Willie Nelson recorded his “Nacogdoches” album in Encore’s recording studio. We pride ourselves in having a personal, down-home, yet professional approach to music and want to share this with a larger market. Encore is launching a new website to meet the growing demand in the area of music that may not be addressed by the typical e-commerce music stores. Our goal is to provide you with a musical experience you wont soon forget!
