Analog pedals exist for a different reason.
They shape your guitar signal before it becomes digital. The guitar interacts with real components instead of software modeling the result afterward. That means:
• stronger pick response
• natural cleanup with the volume knob
• thicker sustain and feedback
• a sound that feels connected to your hands
Even players running fully digital rigs often keep an analog pedal at the front because it adds weight and movement that software alone doesn’t quite replicate.
