I run a one-person shop building handmade, all-analog guitar pedals focusing mostly on heavy distortion and fuzz. I don't use assembly lines or outsource production. Every single pedal is drilled, wired, and soldered individually by hand on my workbench, then tuned by ear and fully tested before it goes into a box.
Why Analog Dirt?
There is nothing wrong with plugging straight into an audio interface or running a fully digital modeler. Software is incredibly convenient today. But analog pedals do something different. They shape your physical guitar signal before it ever touches a computer or a digital processor.
By forcing your guitar signal to interact with real, physical components, you get:
-True dynamic response that reacts directly to how hard you hit the strings.
-Natural cleanup when you roll back your guitar’s volume knob.
-Organic sustain and unpredictable feedback that feels alive.
-Added weight and movement at the front of your signal chain, which even players with fully digital rigs use to ground their tone.
