Ark La Tex Guitar Emporium was founded by Dan Wilcox, New Orleans Native. Dan is also a professional musician that has been playing Cajun and Zydeco Music much of his life with the occasional blues and country in his repertoire. Dan Plays Guitar, Accordion, Drums, Bass, some fiddle and has dabbled in many other instruments as well. A Graduate of Holy Cross School and its famous Marching 100 Tiger Band as well as music at Loyola University in NOLA. Dan found upon moving to the Ark La Tex area that there were not many shops that carried quality high end instruments. Ark La Tex Guitar Emporium seeks out high end quality instruments that are put up for sale by shops that are closing, clearing stock, or negotiating deals on instruments that will hold their value for years to come and are investments for a player that bring joy and pleasure to a novice as well as professional performers and collectors. In most cases our inventory consist of Limited Run Guitars or Editions. Local buyers can set-up appointments to try out any guitars in stock. Personal service and a 5 Star Rating is our pride of hard work and customer satisfaction. We do pop-up shops in La and in TX. We will also stock accessories such as strings, straps, capos and tuners. When a instrument is purchased we are in constant contact with the buyer, sending out photos prior shipping, shipping and packing photos to ensure a quality shipment and assistance on tracking and delivery. Guitar and Ukulele Lessons are also available, locally and for ages 9 and up. Lessons are done at a local coffee shop in a private booth for little interruption.
