Cupit Music has been in business since 1980 as a turn-key company that caters to the music industry. President/CEO, Jerry Cupit is a successful songwriter, producer, and author. In 2006 Jerry was riding his Harley Davidson Road King across the U.S. and began designing his own version of a "true travel guitar" that could fit in the saddle bags of his Road King. With much research and many prototypes later, he introduced The Cupit Travel Guitar at the 2011 Summer NAMM in Nashville, TN. This travel guitar caught the attention of musicians of all ages and continues to sell worldwide. His patented design is 4.5lbs and only 22.5" from end to end. This revolutionary design attaches the neck to the body, therefore eliminating the need for a truss rod and also eliminating any bowing, or warping issues. The Cupit Travel Guitar is made of Sitka Spruce, Mahogany and Rosewood and includes a custom fitted case. If you are looking for an acoustic guitar that is easy to carry on a plane, bus, and even play in the passenger seat of your car without having the neck protrude into your neighbors space, this is the perfect guitar for you.
