Cranes Music

Cranes started out as a family run music store which was originally founded in 1851 with the company initially specialising in pianos. Over the years the company grew and diversified covering off pretty much every aspect of musical instruments and all that is associated. During this extensive period of time and dedication Cranes became a pit stop for many a touring and local musicians over, from The Stereophonics to the Manic Street Preachers, Motörhead and Slipknot to Michael Angelo and Arctic Monkeys. We hosted lots of in-store clinics and demonstrations with some incredible musicians and thoroughly enjoyed servicing the needs of every last customer.

As most returning customers and friends already know we decided to shut the doors of our Cardiff & Swansea stores within the last few years. It was after much thought and consideration that we came to this heart wrenching point in time. It had become difficult, all be it impossible to provide competitive pricing whilst maintaining the overheads of running and furnishing our stores with both product and experienced staff. However..... We are pleased to say we are now back! All be it in a slightly different guise! We have a dedicated and very capable team of staff running our new exclusive online webstore, we continue to pride ourselves on the same level customer service and attention to detail that customers will have experienced previously, we look forward to speaking to you and once again servicing your needs. In particular we aim to provide a great range of modern day instruments and accessories to suit everyone’s budget, from guitars and amplifiers to effects pedals etc...

Above all else, we want you to succeed and develop with your instrument therefore it is highly important to us that you have total satisfaction with the quality and tone of what we sell to you.

Please note that anything in our shop containing rosewood (this will be evident in the instrument's 'description' section) that is being exported outside of the EU will extend the time it takes to ship this model greatly.

Also, anyone viewing our store from outside the UK will see the value of our items without any VAT or import duties. These charges will be added on by the courier upon delivery of your goods at a rate determined by your country.
