V16 Guitars is a custom guitar manufacturer located in the Berkeley neighborhood of Denver, CO. My name is Corey Wadley and I am the shop Owner/Luthier.

I started building guitars while attending High School in San Diego, CA in 1983, and have been a professional Luthier since I got my break in 1991. After 7 years of military service, I left the Army after Desert Storm, and was hired as a shop foreman doing custom guitar orders for Chandler Guitars in San Francisco, CA. My build credits include Allen Woody (Allman Brothers Band), Todd Rundgren, Duke Robillard, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (Pantera), Danny Click, Robert Levon Been (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), and Peter Hayes (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club). There probably have been dozens of others that you and I may have heard of, but more often than not, orders were posted 6 month's deep on my office wall at Chandler, and I often didn't know who the customer was.

I started V16 Guitars in 2014. Most builds are customer orders and spoken for before they are built, although I almost always have a project going for my own amusement. This Reverb store is devoted to sales of my personal collection of vintage guitars, all of which were taken in because there was something very special about them - either condition, mojo, or some combination of both. In the near future, watch for spec guitars built here in the shop for public sale. You can also contact me directly to place a custom order. Lead time is 6-8 months.
