I rescue instruments from pawn shops and abusive neglectful owners and put them in the hands of musicians who want to play them. As the old proverb goes you don't know the blues unless you've pawned your favorite guitar to pay the rent. I was in that situation once and hated it, so I shorted the rent and got my guitar out of hock, and told the ex-wife to go hungry for the week. She didn't want to help contribute to the household and now she is the ex-wife. Fast forward 20 years, the guitar addiction kicked in once again after buying a used Epiphone and a modeling amp from a pawn shop. Which started this mass buying spree of $100 to $300 price point guitars, and other musical instruments. So now I own a slew of guitars, amps, keyboards, and effects which I am always buying, swapping, and trading to try new things, mostly out of pawn shops, and local musicians here in Cleveland. Packaging and shipping are my biggest expense, and typically the price I list is what I paid for it, or less, also what I sell I've played it.
