Up for sale is a vintage 1970s Guild WEM Watkins Copicat Solid State Mark IV tape echo Serial number # CW-11369 manufactured in England. Famous for its warm analog tape saturation and signature British echo sound, this unit delivers everything from vintage slapback and rhythmic multi tap repeats to rich, dreamy ambient oscillations.The front panel features controls for Swell, Sustain, Gain 1, and Gain 2, along with three push button playback head selectors that let you engage any combination of repeats. It features dual instrument inputs, a footswitch connection, the original red tension arm, and its classic black tolex hardshell case with latches and carrying handle. The unit is complete with its internal power cable and original cosmetic hardware. This unit is in good working order, but has not been refurbished.
