Seymour Duncan AHB-1S Blackouts 7-String Phase 1 Pickup Set
The AHB-1S Blackouts deliver the responsive, articulate character of active pickups without the aggressive midrange scoop that defines many competing designs. This calibrated neck and bridge set transforms 7-string instruments with tighter dynamics and cleaner articulation, making them ideal for players who demand clarity across high-gain and clean applications alike.
Electronics & Power
Built around a 9V active circuit with balanced differential preamp inputs, these pickups maintain low noise while preserving natural harmonic detail. The included 25K potentiometers, stereo jack, battery clip, and mounting hardware streamline installation on compatible instruments.
Compatibility & Installation
The AHB-1S functions as a direct retrofit for passive 7-string humbuckers manufactured by Seymour Duncan and DiMarzio, eliminating the need for cavity modifications. This plug-and-play approach makes them practical for players moving between instruments or restoring existing setups.
