Schecter Riot-4 Session Electric Bass in Aged Natural Satin
The Riot-4 Session delivers a balanced, comfortable playing experience engineered for session work, studio tracking, and live performance. Its 'C'-shaped maple neck and thoughtfully dimensioned body contours encourage extended playing without fatigue, while the swamp ash construction keeps the instrument responsive and lightweight.
Playability & Ergonomics
The 34-inch scale and 1.496-inch nut width maintain familiar four-string positioning, with 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets on a 12-inch fingerboard radius supporting clean articulation across the neck. Neck thickness tapers from .826 inches at the 1st fret to .905 inches at the 12th, offering responsive feel without sacrificing stability through a 2-way adjustable truss rod.
Tone & Electronics
A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut pairs with EMG 35DC bridge and 35J neck pickups to deliver punchy, controlled low-end and articulate mids. The Master Volume/Blend with 3-Band EMG Active E/Q and 18-volt battery compartment provide surgical tone-shaping for any session demand, while the Schecter Custom String Thru bridge ensures stable intonation and sustain.
