The Roland Fantom-G is a flagship workstation built around performance, sequencing and deep sound design. It combines a powerful sound engine with expanded wave memory and supports ARX SuperNATURAL expansion boards for more expressive, behaviour-modelled sounds.
A large colour LCD with mouse support gives it a more computer-like workflow, paired with an onboard audio and MIDI sequencer offering 128 tracks including audio recording. The effects section is extensive, with multi-effects available per part and complex routing options for building layered, detailed mixes. Designed for live use as much as studio work, it brings together sampling, sequencing and synthesis in a single, performance-focused instrument.
