About this listing
Roland AS-1 Sustainer was one of the earliest guitar pedals made by Roland in the mid‑1970s. It was designed to extend sustain naturally without heavily compressing the tone. The circuit used a photocoupler, giving it a smooth and organic response. Players appreciated its ability to keep notes alive while retaining clarity. The pedal had only two knobs, Sustain and Out Level, keeping operation simple. Its sound was subtler than later compressor pedals like the BOSS CS‑1.It has all original parts and It works properly with 2 9v batteriesThe product is sold as "As-Described" and with all functions working properly and all accessories are included in the product pictures (Items not shown in the photo are not included.)All shipments are sent securely with a tracking number and we can offer expedited shipping (2-3 biz days to deliver) for an additional fee.
