Straight from Reverend's Bolt-On series, the Crosscut is your one-way ticket to inspired harmonic decadence. This solidbody electric guitar features passive hybrid pickups designed by company founder Joe Naylor to create the best marriage of tight lows and fat highs, resulting in a warm tonal clarity that has become a signature of Reverend instruments. The Crosscut’s korina body and roasted maple neck contribute to its lightweight design and overall rich harmonics. Plus, with features like a Bass Contour knob and a treble bleed circuit, the Crosscut makes dialing in your dream tone easier than ever.Custom pickups yield versatile tonal optionsAt Reverend, all pickups are custom designed to ensure the best tonal complement to their respective instrument. In the case of the Crosscut, Railhammer Cleancut hybrid pickups hit with the punch of P-90s, but with cleaner tone and no hum. With rails under the wound strings producing tight lows and poles under the plain strings enhancing fat highs, this merging of pickup qualities delivers phenomenal clarity and punch that guitarists at Sweetwater revel in.Precise build and rich tonewoodsLike every Reverend guitar, the Crosscut possesses a korina body that produces warm, lively tones and rich harmonics. The roasted maple neck means lightweight functionality and a stunning vintage appearance. With a dual-action truss rod sitting in the neck, both backward and forward bows are possible with easy access from the headstock. Tie it all together with a 6-bolt neck plate and you’re ready to log some serious gigging hours or stroll on down to the studio.Decisive dedication to the detailsFrom the pin-lock tuners to the Bass Contour and the treble bleed circuit, it's clear the technologically advanced Crosscut is primed to deliver a swath of harmonically rich tones. If you take an even closer look, you’ll notice leading technician Zack Green’s handwritten serial number and initialed seal of approval that's stamped every Reverend instrument to leave their doors since 1998. Guitarists at Sweetwater who have plugged in a Reverend instrument know the name is akin to detail, precision, and decisive dedication.Reverend Guitars: expertly crafted and designed with the player in mindFrom humble beginnings working out of a Detroit-area garage to worldwide praise and presence on the globe's biggest stages, Reverend Guitars has solidified its place as a reliable source of exquisite guitars and basses.
