For sale is a set of two RCA BK-14A's likely from the early 1970s, which both feature an omnidirectional polar pattern and are extremely rare! Both of these mics sound just like the other one, so there is no doubt they are working as intended. If I could use one word to describe the sound, it would be the word natural. On voice, it comes through very nice, with a good bit of bass response that is just the right amount. Inside the grille, there is new foam in each mic to protect the capsule from plosives, spit, and any debris you can think of. The obvious downside with these mics is physically wear with the grilles both showing denting and one of the mics needs the XLR port undented. Switchcraft connectors work fine with that microphone, but I am unable to use Neutrik XLR connectors. As a result, I am also including a rare EV accessory that allows the mic to be mounted in a pistol grip mic clip, essentially. Lastly, two mics will be included, so the new owner needs zero accessories to try these out.
