The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar—the iconic instrument that started it all in 1985. The Custom 24-08 retains all the core features of the original while taking the Custom platform into new sonic territory. Like its counterpart in the Core series, the SE Custom 24-08 is equipped with two mini-toggle switches that allow for individual coil-splitting of the humbuckers—enabling single-coil-style tones—and offers a total of eight different pickup configurations. Classic design elements include a maple top, mahogany back, rosewood fretboard, 24 frets, a 25" scale length, bird inlays, a distinctive headstock logo, and a PRS patented tremolo.PRS Patented TremoloA patented design that offers tonal fidelity, player comfort, and tuning stability.PRS-Designed Tuners with Winged ButtonsBuilt to PRS specifications, these lightweight tuners provide precise tuning without dampening the sound.PRS TCI "S" PickupsMusical pickups that offer versatile tones—ranging from bright single-coil sounds to full-bodied soapbar-style tones. Designed to PRS specifications.TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PRS SE CUSTOM 24-08 CHARCOAL CHERRY BURSTBODYBody Construction: SolidbodyTop Wood: MapleVeneer: Flamed MapleBack Wood: MahoganyTop Carve: Shallow ViolinNeck-to-Body Joint: SetFinish: Charcoal Cherry BurstNECKNumber of Frets: 24Scale Length: 25"Neck Wood: MapleNeck Construction: Multi-PlyNeck Thickness at Nut: 20.64 mmNeck Thickness at 12th Fret: 22.6 mmNeck Width at Nut: 42.85 mmNeck Width at Body: 57.15 mmTruss Rod: PRS Double-ActingNeck Shape: Wide ThinFretboard Wood: RosewoodFretboard Radius: 10"Fretboard Inlays: BirdsHeadstock Logo: Signature "SE"HARDWAREBridge: PRS Patented Tremolo, MoldedTuners: PRS-Designed TunersHardware Material: NickelNut: PRSTruss Rod Cover: "Custom"ELECTRONICSBridge Pickup: TCI "S"Neck Pickup: TCI "S"Controls: Volume, Tone, 3-Way Toggle Switch, two Mini-Toggle Coil-Tap SwitchesADDITIONAL INFORMATIONStrings: PRS Classic 9-42Tuning: Standard (6-string) E, A, D, G, B, ECase: Gig Bag
