About this listing
1929 (284p serial) National Triolian polychrome resonator with a couple build traits only found on late 29/30 models like the 3-piece stamped body, bare maple fretboard (not ebonized) with black tuners far as I know on wood body predecessors. Almost perfect Hawaiian scene which is kinda rare. Fresh Neck set by the folks at National Resophonic where they replaced the nut and leveled and polished the frets. Original biscuit, cone, smooth clean original fretboard, frets and binding with none of the usual finger marks in first position. Set up to play comfortably all the way up the neck. Has a couple small dents and a little 1 inch repair on butt with typically worn paint, but with near perfect Hawaii scene on back. It’s rare to see them as original as this.
