Up for sale is a great example of a Late 70’s Martin D-35!This example has had a new tortoise guard put on in place of the original (which was curling up pretty bad) as well as a glued pickguard crack! It’s hardly noticeable anymore and is holding strong, although you can feel the repair when you run your finger over the affected area!The body is in decent shape and free of any structural damage aside from the repaired crack, a few dings and smudges are present but don’t pose any threat to the structural integrity!The neck is slightly underset, as is common on many martins from this era, but it’s a lot better than most examples you’ll find. The action is up to industry specs, but to some players it will seem high. See pictures! The neck is straight though and the original frets are in decent condition!Comes with Modern Martin Case!- Sold as is! -
