Grand-daddy of the microKorg, this thing is great! Be it a VA, it has a character all its own with plenty of knobs and delightful full sized keys. Easily one of the funnest and inspiring synths within the 500 and under price range.

Now almost two decades old, the MS2000 is becoming a “vintage” synth just like those it is modeled after. Lots of fun tones to play with, but the mid sequencer is what makes this really stand out. I’ve wanted one for years and finally got my hands on one. The vocoder, too, is so handy. Way more powerful and easier to use than the MicroKorg I am replacing it with.
