À propos de cette annonce
This 1974 Gibson EDS-1275 is a fantastic example of a vintage workhorse. While it has some functional modifications on the 6-string side, it retains the core vintage components—including the original pickups and tuners—that give these Norlin-era Gibsons their distinct character and sustain. It also has an added strap button on the back. The Details:Electronics & Hardware: The original Gibson pickups are intact and sound incredible, delivering that classic 70s bite and warmth. The original tuners are also present and hold pitch well. The 6-String Mods: This guitar was set up for precision performance. The 6-string side has been upgraded with a fine-tuning tailpiece and a roller bridge for improved stability and tuning accuracy.Cosmetics: To accommodate the upgraded tailpiece, a small portion of the middle pickguard was neatly carved out. There is also a slight finish separation at the center glue joint—a common occurrence for these large-bodied instruments that does not affect the structural integrity or sound.Playability: The frets are in great shape. There is only very light wear on the 6-string side in the "cowboy chord" area (first few frets), with plenty of life left across both necks.Case: Comes with the original Gibson hardshell case, which is in good, sturdy condition. Why This Guitar? If you’ve been looking for an EDS-1275 that you can actually take to the stage without the "collector's anxiety," this is the one. The fine-tuning tailpiece makes it a much more reliable tool for live performance than the stock setup, and the original 1974 wood and electronics provide a tone that modern reissues simply cannot replicate. It plays fast, sounds massive, and looks every bit the rock-and-roll icon.
