Austin MacNutt started his journey to Masterbuilder at the Guitar Craft Academy in Hollywood then moved onto Thorn guitars and for 11 he crafted high end boutique guitars before moving to the Custom Shop as a Masterbuilder.
We've had quite a few of his guitars over the years and they're always fantastic intruments and this really cool Double Bound 60 Tele Custom is no exception.
The body is alder, neck is rif sawn maple with a medium depth 60's C profile and rosewood board. We've gone with Josefina Handwound Loaded Nocaster pickups on this build. These pickups are slightly overwound with extra thick wire and sound glorious, they retain the Nocaster snap and twang but add some gritty attitude into the mix.
