Overview
The American Vintage Series pays tribute to certain guitars from landmark years in Fender's history; thus, the Fender American Vintage '62 Jaguar is built to the specs of that year. The Jaguar was first produced in 1962, so this is a particularly landmark year for the instrument and the American Vintage '62 Jaguar is consequently sporting specs from the Jag's first year of production. The short scale neck, the two single-coil pickups with the distinctive Lead and Rhythm Circuitry, and the obviously Jaguar-like offset body are all a part of the Fender American Vintage '62 Jaguar.
