Overview

The Digitech FreqOut Frequency Feedback Generator tames the grit and bombast of natural feedback in a pedal that allows musicians to add edge to their playing with precision. Select from seven specific harmonics where the feedback kicks in, add a dollop of delay before the effect starts, and easily balance gain for anywhere from studio time to stage.

  • Controls: Dual gain (feedback level)/onset (pre-delay) knob, seven-mode harmonic feedback knob, momentary/latching and dry switches, feedback level light indicator

  • Other Features: True bypass

I played this pedal for a year before it died. I was extremely happy with it and with the sounds I learned to make. If anybody knows the fix for one that just clicks and dies right after power up I'd love to know about it. This never left the studio and was very well cared for so it must be a fluke.

Awesome effect. It sounds great and I will be trying it in hundreds of ways in the next month or so.

  • Brilliant invention, pretty easy to use, solidly built

A small learning curve but much better than a sustainer pickup (which can sustain all the strings) and no more Ebow taking up my picking hand. Lots of range too. Must put at front of your chain however for best results. Killer with some gain. Highly recommended.

  • Excellent for Direct Recording

Using as a feedback alternative for recordings made with fractal axe fx III. You also can do crazy synth stuff with it.

  • Not very musical

Yes the pedal makes feedback as it says but I’m having a hard time getting it to sound natural. When getting feedback through an amp if you bend the string the feedback follows the note. I can’t seem to recreate that with this pedal. Maybe I’m doing something wrong
