Yvette Young—the Covet guitarist and finger-tapping riff master—can often be seen playing sparkle finish Ibanez Talmans, as she was in a previous video made with Reverb early last year.
At the NAMM 2020 show this week, Ibanez has announced a signature model for Young: the YY10. It's a Talman-shaped body with three Seymour Duncan single coil pickups in a Strat configuration, with a Strat-style Wilkinson tremolo bridge. And, of course, it has a sparkle finish.

It also features a U-shape tapered maple neck, maple fretboard with bone nut, and an alder body.
The signature model seems a wise move from Ibanez, as Yvette Young's popularity continues to grow. Whether or not she's solely responsible, we have seen some increased interest for Talmans on the site over the past year, with a budget-friendly red sparkle Talman variant selling for $50 to $100 more than it previously had on the used market.

Yesterday, it was also announced that Steve Vai—Ibanez's most prominent endorsee—was releasing an updated version of the JEM called the PIA. Take a look at our video with Vai showing off the new guitars.
