Watch a Synth Jam with the Polyend Seq, Elektron Digitakt, and Expressive E Touché

Composer, synthesist, and friend of Reverb redstripedown has helped us show off the capabilities of synthesizers before. Back in June, he did a one-off performance with new instruments from Moog, Arturia, and Eventide.

Today, he's back to demonstrate just a bit of what's possible with the Polyend Seq, Elektron Digitakt, and Expressive E Touché, along with his Eurorack rig.

The Polyend Seq is a powerful MIDI step sequencer that has 32 steps and up to eight tracks of polyphony—which makes it a great choice to pair with a live synth rig. It easily connects via MIDI or USB to other devices, computers, or to your recording equipment. The Digitakt sampler and drum machine makes an apt command center.

Meanwhile, the Touché is a control pad that reacts to all manner of pressure and gestures. Connecting to your other synths and devices through CV, MIDI, or USB, it reacts to your touch across the wooden top and to the movement of its platform, changing the parameters and sounds of your instruments as you play.

Be sure to watch the video to hear what these instruments and devices can do together.
