Video: Introducing the New Soldano SLO Pedal

The Soldano SLO-100 (Super Lead Overdrive) has been a high-gain standard-setter since its initial release in 1987. It has been iterated on and upgraded with player-requested features over the years, and the current production model is still one of the most popular high-gain options on the market.

Now, for the first time, fans of the beloved 100-watt tube head can get the SLO-100 sound in a pedalboard-friendly package. The new SLO Pedal promises the perfect balance of gain, sustain, and touch response and is crafted using the same cascading gain stages that the original amp is known for.

The pedal also features the same control layout as the amp: gain, volume, presence, and a three-band EQ. There's also a side-mounted Deep Switch, which serves to replicate the amp's depth-knob low-end punch. Other features of the pedal include:

  • Deep voicing select switch
  • Iconic Soldano look
  • 9v power jack – DC supply only, no battery connection within
  • Assembled in the USA

In addition to the dealer version of the pedal, Soldano will also be offering 300 units in a custom purple chassis that will be available exclusively on Reverb from the brand's direct shop. Click the buttons above to get your own.
