Produced in Sweden by the Clavia company, Nord keyboards have been widely embraced by players since the first Nord Lead launched in 1995. Nords are known for their digital emulation of classic analog sounds, and the company continues to add innovative features with each new generation of synth. The Nord Lead 4R is their virtual analog synth, pairing analog style sounds with modern conveniences like expanded polyphony, multi-timbrality and preset storage. The Nord Lead 4R adds a variety of new synthesis modes and filter types, a built in effects section and dedicated, adjustable performance controls for morphing sounds in a live setting.
