The CE-1 Chorus Ensemble is now in stock as a used item! The World's First Chorus Pedal BOSS released the CE-1 in 1976 as its first product and the worldfs first chorus pedal. It condenses the chorus/vibrato circuitry found in the JC-120 amplifier into a pedal-sized unit and has been beloved by countless guitarists to this day. The CE-1 is also globally acclaimed as a preamp capable of producing a distinctive, rich, and full-bodied sound; it has such a dedicated following that many pedals based on its design have been released worldwide. Based on the serial number and power cord markings, it is believed to have been manufactured around 1979. It shows scratches and signs of wear consistent with its age, but it functions perfectly. * The item shown in the images, including all accessories, is everything included in this sale.
