The D-18 StreetLegend (2025) is the Dreadnought-shaped acoustic guitar from Martin & Co.'s "Standard" series, featuring a distinctive StreetLegend aged finish. It features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a select hardwood neck, and an ebony fingerboard. It features GE-Scalloped bracing for greater brightness and projection, a lowered GE Modified Low Oval neck profile, a beveled heel, neck, and bridge for greater comfort, and ebony bridge pins. It features a 44.45 mm nut, a 645 mm scale length, and a satin finish on the top, sides, and back.

The satin-finished top of the new StreetLegend® model features some visible wear, inspired by the historic models in our museum. This gives your new guitar a worn look that reflects its age, just like many of the fine instruments we've selected over the years. The D-18 StreetLegend is crafted with satin-finished mahogany back and sides, offering excellent projection, bright highs, and a rich midrange. This model's scalloped bracing contributes to greater power and a fuller sound compared to traditional non-scalloped bracing. It also includes aged open-gear tuning machines and an aged satin pickguard to complete the aesthetic. One of the key innovations of the 2025 Standard Series is the use of Golden Era (GE) Sitka spruce top bracing, a detail also found on the Modern Deluxe Series, which provides a more vintage and airy tone with enhanced sustain. The modified "Low Oval" GE neck profile retains the classic shape but has been optimized for a vintage appeal. The fingerboard has been thinned and features rounded edges for greater comfort, while the string layout at the nut has been refined. The new GE "modern belly" bridge features softer, more comfortable angles. Standard Series guitars now feature bone or ebony bridge pins, depending on the model. Aesthetic updates include an extended neck diamond, an angled nut, and a more articulated, vintage-style heel.
