This is a third-generation model from around 1979, featuring op-amp technology!
While the very early third-generation models from early 1977, a transitional period from the second-generation Ram's Head, featured discrete components and an on-off switch, from late 1977 to around 1979, op-amp ICs were adopted in the circuitry, and a tone-bypass switch was added instead of an on-off switch. Model numbers include the EH-3003, inherited from the Ram's Head era, and the EH1322, unique to the third generation. Around 1980, it changed back to the EH3034, which again employed a discrete circuit. At the same time, the knob shape changed from chicken head to a round type. Although it's a fuzz, you can also enjoy distortion-like distortion. The crisp, compressed attack is unmistakably fuzz. The tone control is variable from low-pass to high-pass, allowing you to set to a range from a bright, crisp tone to a boomy tone with strong bass. Needless to say, the sound is outstanding! This model is the quintessential example of a thick, powerful fuzz sound. The pot date indicates it was manufactured in 1979.
