Recorders:
Yamaha MT4X Multitrack Cassette Recorder with rugged perfectly fit Fender carry case. I used this extensively with no problems in home recording studio. I include a partial user manual with primary areas of instruction. I can send the entire manual in an email.
Teac RW 890 MKII Compact disc recorder. I purchased brand new a few years ago and literally used it twice. Entire original user manual is included along with a highlighted printout of excerpts. Original remote is included and it works.

Workflow:
I recorded through an analog mixer into the 4-track tape deck. I recorded with dbx noise reduction enabled, boosting the highs considerably, then de-activated the dbx for all playback/record out functions. I did all mixing and mastering using the eqs on the MT4X. When done mixing and mastering (by running the outs from the MT4X through my home entertainment/stereo system to comp) I copied onto CD using the Teac CD recorder, then digitized the music using simple Windows media player menus to convert to MP3.
