Vestax FDG-1 3 Band Frequency Dividing Gear (Isolator)
Vintage isolator / "kill EQ" from Vestax. Made in Japan.
Two of these great isolator units in great condition, mounted in the hard to find factory-supplied 19" rack mount. Some light scratches and signs of use, particularly on the back. The front panels also have light marks but nothing major. Everything works as it should, no crackles. Has had home & studio use only.
Solid build and high quality pots, very clean sound with full kill on each band and 6db of boost.
The Vestax FDG-1 Isolator accepts line-in or phono-in as it includes a nice phono pre-amp stage. This means it can be run as a phono preamp with isolator from a turntable into a mixer or an isolator post mixer. Large knobs and kill switches are great for dropping kills. Easy to connect as a master insert, send/return loop or directly on master output.
Requires one 15v DC, 200mA power supply for each unit. These are not included but they are easy to find, being the usual centre-negative 5.5mm × 2.1mm Boss-style connector.
