Akai MPC2500 Sampler/Sequencer – Working – Read Description
Fully working Akai MPC2500 in used condition. The unit powers on and functions as it should. Cosmetically it has some scratches and signs of use from age.
There is an issue with the touch strip/pad connector where the ribbon can become misaligned when the case is fitted, causing intermittent operation. If pressure is applied or the connection is reseated, it works normally, and with the top case removed it functions correctly. This appears to be a connector/ribbon alignment issue rather than a fault with the machine itself.
Pads, screen, and general operation are working. Sold in the condition described and pictured. Ideal for someone who wants a classic MPC at a lower price or is comfortable carrying out a minor repair/adjustment.
