With a heavy heart I decided to part ways with this extremely rare and beautiful snare drum.
It serves well as a versatile side snare or even as a main without any major drawbacks. It sounds great in every dynamic and the tone and response are full-bodied, punchy and controlled.
This was my most precious piece of gear so I have guarded and maintained it well - it is in excellent condition and still as pretty as on day 1. Mint aesthetic, with only microscopic marks from light use.
I cleaned it and replaced only the heads with brand new Ambassador heads. So just tune it to your liking and start playing right away!
I confirmed the Serial No. JP-0934 directly with Brady through Facebook and they specified the material as 10-ply shell consists of 9 plies of Jarrah with a Blackheart face veneer. As you can see in the photos, hardware and shell of this snare are in topnotch condition, only some minor scratches only when you search for it.
