Fender Musicmaster 1964 - Refin Blue

Made in 1964

This is likely a blue Musicmaster that was refinished over a white body.

It features an A-neck with a narrow nut width, making it easy to play even for those with smaller hands.

The fingerboard is rosewood that fully showcases the characteristics of Brazilian rosewood.

This alone allows you to appreciate the classic Fender vintage style.

The previous owner had the frets and nut replaced, two pots swapped out, and the bridge modified to a brass model.

These upgrades have improved the playing condition without compromising the guitar’s appearance.

The pickup is original, with a single coil in the front position.

It produces a modern midrange tone that blends the unique vintage character with the urban sound of the new string-related parts.

Additionally, the previous owner used it as a two-pickup guitar for a time,

so it comes with a two-pickup pickguard, a Duncan pickup, and a slide switch,

allowing you to convert it to a two-pickup setup and enjoy a Duo-Sonic-style modification.

Currently, the neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly, and the frets are mostly intact, so you can enjoy playing it for a while without needing maintenance.
