From its creation in 1981 to the present day, the JCM 800 series has become a rock legend! The 4211 is a 100-watt all-tube combo in a 2x12-inch configuration (a pair of Celestion G12T-75 speakers), equipped with EL34 power tubes and ECC83 preamp tubes, delivering a powerful, sharp, and highly dynamic sound capable of moving from punchy cleans to the classic Marshall mid-rich overdrive. Unlike the simpler JCM800 models (2203/2204), the 4211 features two channels (clean and boost), built-in reverb, and an effects loop, making it more versatile while retaining a slightly different character. Highly regarded for its raw tone, projection, and “old school” feel, it’s an amp built for live performance and high-volume settings.
