Here is a new one from our favourite local pedal maker. Hunter Pedals are always good. Hand-made. Good components true to form. Solid builds. Beautiful enclosures. This one is a legendary 1990 Soldano X88-R Preamp section in a box. It looks and sounds fantastic.

If you're a fan of Steve Lukather, chances are that your favourite era (both regarding his tone and playing) is the late 80s and early 90s, often referred to as "the Soldano era". The basis of his tone was the prototype for the Soldano X88R preamp with the black faceplate.

This is the holy grail of Soldano rack preamps and found in many studio racks of the pros. These are getting incredibly hard to find. Michael Soldano has estimated these would cost over $5,000 to produce currently. The circuit is based off of the highly coveted Soldano SLO100. Get the sound, not the price tag.
