Jackson Dinky LT – MIJ (early ’90s) – Flame Top / HSS
Dear brothers and sisters in rock, may I present to you:
For sale is a Made in Japan- Jackson Dinky LT from the early 1990s, part of the highly regarded Jackson Professional Series, built at the famous Chushin Gakki factory.
Based on the serial number the guitar dates to around 1991, while the body stamp points to Dinky LT production (commonly associated with 1992). Based on this it is very early series of Japanese made Dinkys and definitely it's Japan golden era.
The guitar features a transparent red burst finish over a figured (flame) top, with the wood grain clearly visible beneath the color. I’ve seen this referred to as Red Flame, though Jackson’s naming was not always consistent — in any case, it’s a classic burst with visible figuring, very much in line with early ’90s Professional Series line.
The neck is exceptionally fast and straight as an arrow, as you’d expect from a Dinky/DK, but what really stands out is its melancholic, resonant character — lively, open, and musical even unplugged. This is not a sterile shred stick; it has real tone and depth. The action is low making this very easy and fast to play.

Condition
Very good for its age. Structurally solid, plays effortlessly, and sounds rich and expressive. This is a well-kept example of an increasingly sought-after MIJ Jackson from the golden era. A few dings here and there and tiny amount of rash on the back, as well loved guitar should.
