A wonderful SG-X in corona yellow with Ebony fretboard in 100% original condition!
The guitar sounds and plays great!
Between 1998-99 these SG-X models featured Ebony fretboards which is a great upgrade! The mahogany body and neck add a nice balanced and warm sound.
The guitar has a lot of nice weather checking and the usual lacquer lifting on the face of the headstock that you see on all 90’s Gibsons. There are two scuffs on the guitar one near the jack and another old gash on the top side of the body. there are no breaks or repairs on the guitar.
The pickup is a 500T ceramic humbucker and features a coil tap switch for more tonal variation. The bridge is an abr-1 and the machine heads are made by Schaller for Gibson. overall a great 90’s Gibson with a super cool color, great woods and abr-1 bridge!
