I have lost count of the number of Casimiro’s guitars I have placed with clients of mine all over the world after so many years. He makes a fine double top, and I have sold many.
His double tops take the old world Spanish voice these guitars possess and kind of “super charges’ it by adding some of the volume and dynamic range we expect of modern guitars, and Casimiro blends the old world and new seamlessly in his guitars. Ample volume, a comfortable action, 20th half fret, and for a brand new guitar a surprisingly and wonderfully open and clear voice all come together in this instrument.
These guitars are also widely popular in Europe and played there by several artists of note.
I have always felt Casimiro’s guitars represent not only superb concert level instruments, but also a great value, a combination that as you well know, is not so easy to find.
