This is a rare London Power STUDIO 50 Watt amp designed and built by Kevin O'Connor of London Power (Canada).
Very rare, there are not that many point-to-point hand-soldered amps of this early series, before the conversion to pcb-based amps.
This one was handbuilt by Kevin O'Connor and brought personally by him to the EU on a trip to Scandinavia in 2006.
Watts: 50w (max, can be power scaled downwards), All NOS parts.
Fantastic tones. Can out-tweed a vintage tweed amp.
Built like a tank.
Sold with owner's manual and collection of unused octal-based tubes.
Ships: insured, signature required.
*Sale is for amp head only. Does not include UA OX and other equipment.

Power Scaling allows tube compression and distortion effects at any loudness down to a whisper. The standard loudness range is “unusably loud down to unusably quiet,” so the player or sound engineer can decide how quiet “quiet” is. The 50W maximum output is loud enough to damage hearing when used with typical high-efficiency guitar speakers, but Power Scaling lets you have “cranked” tone at safe sound pressure levels.
