Made in Japan Vintage MXR Distortion+ clone (Coron?)

Up for sale a vintage distortion pedal made in Japan in 70s or 80s - the face of the pedal was sanded off and / or it was refinished in red. I looked all around for a distortion clone like Coron Distortion 15 that came in red and could not find one - although it's easy to see it's one of the MiJ clones following the enclosure shape, "JAPAN" stamp on the back and internals that match the pedals released under various brand names (BIAS, KMD, Coron, Labo,Memphis, MX Four etc). It's fully functional, knobs were replaced, all internals look original. I can't tell whether the finish is original as it looks almost too good to be original but who knows. Very good sounding MXR Dist+ clone tonewise.
