Custom Shop NOS finish. Handwound Poblano Stratocaster pickups. Maple 5/4 Quartersawn Maple neck with AAA Rosewood Round Lam fingerboard. Sanko 6105 frets. 9.50" radius.
The Custom Shop version of the Vintage Reissue 1965 Stratocaster. The Aztec Gold finish alone just makes this a Killer guitar to play, on stage of at home. The Sanko 6105 frets are different from the Vintage style frets of the American Vintage instruments, wihich also changes the tone and character of this 1965 based Strat. The Aztec body is of Alder.

The Custom Shop Handwound Poblano Stratocaster pickups give more punch and more dynamics, while retaining the bright 'sparkle' a Stratocaster should posses. Just as with the American Vintage '65 Strats, the Tremolo arm has been upgraded, and has a period correct and very 'easy-to-use' angle.
