John Jorgenson is an American musician known for his guitar work with bands such as the Desert Rose Band and The Hellecasters, as well as being named "Guitarist of the Year" by the Academy of Country Music three years in a row. In 1997 he received his own Fender Signature model. This edition, limited to 500 specimens, features a maple body painted in an extravagant "Black Gold Sparkle", a high-gloss maple neck in a vintage look with an inverted large Strat headstock, a rosewood fingerboard with gold sparkle dot inlays, 22 Jumbo frets and Schaller locking tuners. Special features also include three Seymour Duncan "Custom Voice Split-Coil" pickups with hum suppression, which allow the player controlled feedback in distortion mode, as well as a specially wired 5-way selector switch with an additional push/pull control that allows seven tone variations. Other details include a Custom 2-pivot tremolo, a self-lubricating Wilkinson "Wilkaloid" nut, a gold-colored pickguard and gold hardware. The best playability is guaranteed by the medium-slim neck, which is simply great in the hand. So, on the one hand you get here a soundmighty top player, on the other an extravagant collector's item with a wide range of unique features. We are delighted to be able to offer you this Hellecaster, which you should definitely not miss out on, in top condition. The guitar was delivered without a case at the time, which is why it now comes to its new owner in a non-original gig bag.
