The TANTRA has a warmer and fuller sound than Theo Wanne's MANTRA, which is the mother of this mouthpiece.
Theo took the innovations and design of the MANTRA and made the sound warmer and fuller and a little less hard. He achieved this through a softer transition of the Baffle. This fits perfectly with the fiberreeds, especially the Hemp Fiberreeds.
The Alto has shark-gill grooves in the chamber. This makes the sound bigger while the core that Alto players love is preserved. The TANTRA alto is available in size 7.
