A beautifully made vintage 4/4 violin labelled Vuillaume. Likely made in Mirecourt in the late 1800's to early 1900's -- label has a handwritten date of 1/1/1912, but impossible to know if that is a date of manufacture or something else. Has excellent amber-orange oil varnish, comprised of terrific woods and workmanship. Length of back is 14 1/16" (357mm), string sounding length of 12 7/8" (327mm). A beautiful vintage violin in fine shape that plays well and has a terrific voice. Includes a good vintage case. vn11_22
