I have three working Cartidge type DVD-RAM drives available plus one non working Panasonic for parts. The Toshiba and one of the Panasonic drives are excellent, the 2nd Panasonic works but is slightly noisier and the third Panasonic drive is for spares as it doesn't see or write disks.
They all have IDE interface - NOT SATA! I have tested them using an IDE to USB.
