- This version v1.02 is the final firmware issued by Ensoniq for the DP/2.
- Included will be 2 brand new ROM chips to complete the upgrade.
The DP/2 itself is not for sale, only the ROM upgrade chips will be supplied.
- Ensoniq mandated that all authorized Ensoniq service centers were to upgrade all DP/2 units in for servicing to firmware version 1.02.
- This upgrade is said to serve as a supplemental release, intended to iron out any remaining kinks affecting general stability and bugs in the firmware code.
