2000 Gibson Les Paul Custom Ebony – The Classic “Black Beauty” with Factory Open-Coil ‘57 Classics

There’s nothing quite like a black Les Paul Custom! Uncovered humbuckers instead of the usual gold covers, which gives it a darker, meaner look, loaded with vintage-voiced ‘57 Classic humbuckers. It also has the full Custom treatment: multi-ply binding, mother-of-pearl split-diamond headstock inlay and block inlays on an ebony fretboard. The headstock serial (03240415) and the original pre-pack checklist both date it to November 19, 2000. The original tuners were replaced with gold Kluson-style keystone units; everything else is as it left Nashville. The top and binding are still glossy and good-looking. The back shows honest player wear, with light scratches and a few small marks in the finish. It comes in its original brown Gibson USA hardshell case with pink plush lining.
