The Taylor 814ce is a wonderfully versatile guitar, and its Grand Auditorium body shape makes it a real pleasure to play. Built around the classic combination of Indian rosewood and sitka spruce, it offers a warm, full sound that lends itself to a wide range of genres and playing styles.

The mahogany neck has a comfortable soft V profile and is topped with an ebony fingerboard carrying the mother of pearl Element inlays typical of the 800 Series. Both the body and the neck are trimmed with flamed maple binding, and the headstock wears a rosewood overlay. The top is supported by X-bracing and finished with a tortoise pickguard.

Tonally, the 814ce delivers exactly what has made this model a modern classic: a beautifully balanced, articulate voice with shimmering highs, clear and defined lows and a focused midrange. It responds just as well to delicate fingerpicking as to full-blooded strumming, making it a genuine all-rounder.

This 2013 Taylor 814ce is in excellent condition, with only minimal playwear in the form of small scratches, and it still looks exceptionally clean. It comes supplied with a TFOA Passport in its original Taylor case.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
